Sour Cream Dessert Omelet Recipe

Ingredients
  • powdered sugar .
  • 1 c whipping cream .
  • 1 c berries, fresh .
  • 2 tbsps sugar .
  • 2/3 c flour .
  • 1 c sour cream .
  • 6 eggs, separated

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Step #2 Whisk together the cream & sour cream with 1 tbsp of the sugar.
  • Step #3 Beat egg yolks with the remaining sugar until light & lemon-colored; fold into the cream mixture.
  • Step #4 Fold in the flour.
  • Step #5 Beat egg whites until stiff but not dry & fold into the cream mixture.
  • Step #6 Pour into a greased ovenproof dish (8 or 9-inch cast iron skillet works great).
  • Step #7 Bake until puffed, golden & set about 15 to 20 mins.
  • Step #8 Enjoy topped with fresh berries & a dusting of powdered sugar.
