Ingredients
4 eggs .
4-5 tbsps water .
3/4 tsp vanilla .
2 tbsps flour .
3/4 tsp vanilla .
1/3 c butter, softened .
2 tsps vanilla .
1/2 tsp salt .
3 oz unsweetened chocolate .
1 1/2 c flour .
3/4 c unsweetened cocoa .
1 tsp baking powder .
Peanut Butter Portion .
2 c sugar .
3/4 c peanut butter .
1/4 tsp salt .
Chocolate Portion .
2 eggs .
1 c butter, softened .
3 tbsps butter .
2 2/3 c powdered sugar .
Frosting .
1/3 c sugar .
1 c peanut butter chips
Directions
Step #1 Heat oven to 350.
Step #2 Greased 13 x 9 inch pan.
Step #3 In large bowl, beat 2 c of sugar & 1 c of butter until light & fluffy.
Step #4 Add 4 eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Step #5 Add 2 t.
Step #6 vanilla; mix well.
Step #7 In small bowl, cocoa, mix 1 1/2 c flour, baking powder & 1/2 t.
Step #8 salt.
Step #9 Gradually add flour mixture to sugar mixture; mix well.
Step #10 Stir in peanut butter chips.
Step #11 In small bowl, beat peanut butter & 1/3 c butter until smooth.
Step #12 Add 1/3 c sugar & 2 T.
Step #13 flour; mix well.
Step #14 Add 3/4 t.
Step #15 vanilla & 2 eggs; mix well.
Step #16 Spread half of chocolate mixture in greased pan.
Step #17 Spread peanut butter mixture evenly over chocolate mixture.
Step #18 Spread remaining chocolate mixture evenly over peanut butter mixture.
Step #19 To marble, pull knife through layers in wide curves.
Step #20 Bake at 350 for 40-50 mins or until top springs back when touched lightly in center & brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan.
Step #21 Cool completely.
Step #22 In medium saucepan over low heat/flame, melt chocolate & 3 T.
Step #23 butter, stirring constantly until smooth.
Step #24 Remove from heat, stir in the powdered sugar, 1/4 t.
Step #25 salt, 3/4 t.
Step #26 vanilla & enough water for desired spreading consistency.
Step #27 Frost cooled brownies; cut into bars.
