Mustard And Brandy Steaks Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/4 c plain low-fat yogurt .
  • 1/2 c water .
  • 4 boneless rib-eye steaks (in NZ I use fillet steaks about 1-inch thick) .
  • 1 tbsp whole grain mustard .
  • fresh ground black pepper .
  • 2 tbsps brandy

Directions
  • Step #1 Heat a non stick frying pan until very hot.
  • Step #2 Dry fry (or brush steaks with a little oil before frying) for 2-3 mins each side or until done to your preference.
  • Step #3 Remove from pan & keep warm.
  • Step #4 Take pan off the heat & add the brandy, water & mustard.
  • Step #5 Stir well, then add in the yoghurt & season this with pepper.
  • Step #6 Return pan to heat to warm through, then add the steaks & coat with the sauce.
  • Step #7 Serve as soon as possible.
