Caramel Peach Pudding Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 1/4 c water .
  • 1 tbsp butter .
  • 1/2 tsp salt .
  • 2 tsps baking powder .
  • 2 c sliced fresh peaches .
  • 1/2 c granulated sugar .
  • 1/4 tsp almond extract .
  • 1/2 c brown sugar, packed .
  • CARAMEL TOPPING .
  • 1/2 c sugar .
  • 1/2 c milk .
  • 1 c all-purpose flour

Directions
  • Step #1 sift flour, mixing well -- fold in peaches, sugar, baking powder & salt -- stir in the milk & vanilla, mixing well.
  • Step #2 spread in greased 8" square pan.
  • Step #3 prepare caramel topping & pour over batter.
  • Step #4 bake in hot oven.
  • Step #5 400* about 30 mins.
  • Step #6 serve this with whipped cream or plain cream.
  • Step #7 CARAMEL TOPPING:.
  • Step #8 bring all ingredients to a boil & pour over the above batter --.
