Ingredients
1/2 c packed brown sugar .
1 c vanilla wafer crumbs .
1/4 c butter, melted .
2 c sour cream .
3 tbsps almond flavored liqueur (or 2 tbsps milk mixed with 1/4 tsp. almond extract) .
1 c semisweet chocolate pieces, melted .
3 tbsps sugar .
2 tbsps sugar .
2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened .
1/2 c sliced pecans
Directions
Step #1 Combine crumbs, pecans, sugar & butter; press onto bottom of 9 inch springform pan.
Step #2 Bake at 325F degrees for 10 mins.
Step #3 Combine cream cheese & brown sugar until well mixed with electric mixer.
Step #4 Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well.
Step #5 Blend in chocolate & liqueur; pour over crust.
Step #6 Bake at 325F degrees for 35 mins.
Step #7 Increase oven temperature to 425F degrees.
Step #8 Combine sour cream & sugar; carefully spread over cheesecake.
Step #9 Bake at 425F degrees for 10 mins.
Step #10 Cool & chill in the fridge.
