Ham-and-cheese Tartlets Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 c sliced cooked ham
  • 1 c whipping cream
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 1/4 c (9 oz) shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 3 tbsps all-purpose flour
  • 3 (10-oz) packages frozen pastry shells

Directions
  • Step #1 Place pastry shells on a baking sheet.
  • Step #2 Bake at 325° for 5 mins or until lightly browned.
  • Step #3 Stir together cheese & flour.
  • Step #4 Whisk together eggs & whipping cream; stir in the cheese mixture & sliced ham.
  • Step #5 Cover up & chill 8 hrs, if desired.
  • Step #6 Spoon mixture evenly into prepared pastry shells.
  • Step #7 Place on a baking sheet.
  • Step #8 Bake at 325° for 25 mins.
  • Step #9 Note: You can make ahead & freeze baked tartlets.
  • Step #10 Thaw, & bake tartlets again at 325° for 10 mins or until thoroughly heated.
