Pumpkin Cheese Ball Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 (8-oz) container chive-and-onion cream cheese
  • 1 broccoli stalk
  • 1 (8-oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 2 (8-oz) blocks extra-sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
  •  Red & green apple wedges
  • 1/2 tsp ground red pepper
  • 2 tsps paprika

Directions
  • Step #1 Combine Cheddar cheese & next 4 ingredients in a bowl until mixed.
  • Step #2 Cover up & chill 4 hrs or until mixture is firm enough to be shaped.
  • Step #3 Shape mixture into a ball to resemble a pumpkin.
  • Step #4 Smooth entire outer surface with a frosting spatula or table knife.
  • Step #5 Make vertical grooves in ball, if desired, using fingertips.
  • Step #6 Cut florets from broccoli stalk, & reserve for another use.
  • Step #7 Cut stalk to resemble a pumpkin stem, & press into top of cheese ball.
  • Step #8 Serve cheese ball with apple wedges.
  • Step #9 Note: To make ahead, wrap cheese ball in plastic wrap without stalk, & store this in refrigerator up to 2 days.
  • Step #10 Attach stalk before serving.
