Cheese Dip With Crawfish Recipe

Ingredients
  •  Green onion strips (optional)
  • 1 lb frozen cooked peeled & deveined crawfish tail meat, thawed, rinsed, & drained
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 (10-oz) can sliced tomatoes & green chiles, undrained
  • 1 lb light processed cheese, cubed (such as Velveeta Light)
  • 5 1/2 oz baked tortilla chips
  • 2 tsps butter
  • 1/2 c sliced onion
  • 1 (10-oz) can sliced tomatoes & green chiles, drained
  • 1/2 c sliced green onions

Directions
  • Step #1 Melt butter In a large-ish saucepan over med-heat/flame.
  • Step #2 Add onion & garlic; cook 5 mins or until tender, stirring frequently.
  • Step #3 Add crawfish; cook 2 mins, stirring frequently.
  • Step #4 Remove mixture from pan; cover & keep warm.
  • Step #5 Add cheese & tomatoes to pan; cook over medium-low heat for 5 mins or until cheese melts.
  • Step #6 Stir in crawfish mixture & sliced green onions.
  • Step #7 Serve with tortilla chips.
  • Step #8 Garnish with green onion strips, if desired.
