Seeded Hummus Recipe

Ingredients
  •  Salt
  • 1 can (15 1/2 oz.) garbanzos, rinsed & drained
  • 3 tbsps lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne
  • 2 tbsps olive oil
  • 2 tbsps plain nonfat yogurt
  • 2 to 4 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsps sesame seed
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin

Directions
  • Step #1 In a 6- to 8-inch frying pan over med-heat/flame, stir sesame seed until golden, about 5 mins.
  • Step #2 In a mixer or food processor/blender, cumin, cayenne, mix sesame seed, garlic, yogurt, lemon juice, oil, & garbanzos; whirl until smooth, scraping container sides often.
  • Step #3 Add salt to taste.
  • Step #4 Scoop into a bowl.
  • Step #5 Nutritional analysis per tbsp.
