Monster Eyes Recipe

Ingredients
  • 72 small pimiento-stuffed olives
  • 3 c all-purpose baking mix
  • 1 (10-oz) block extra-sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 lb ground hot or mild pork sausage

Directions
  • Step #1 Combine first 3 ingredients In a large-ish bowl until mixed.
  • Step #2 Shape sausage mixture into 1-inch balls, & place on lightly greased baking sheets.
  • Step #3 Press 1 olive deeply in the center of each ball.
  • Step #4 Bake at 400° for 20 mins or until lightly browned.
  • Step #5 Note: For testing purposes only, we used Cracker Barrel Extra-Sharp Cheddar Cheese.
