Cream Cheese Hummus Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 to 2 tsps prepared horseradish
  •  About 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 package (3 oz.) regular or reduced-fat cream cheese, at about room temp
  • 1/4 c minced green onions (white & pale green parts only)
  • 1 can (15 1/2 oz.) garbanzos, drained (reserve liquid) & rinsed

Directions
  • Step #1 In a food processor/blender or mixer, whirl garbanzos, green onions, cream cheese, lemon juice, 1/4 c reserved liquid, 1 tsp horseradish, & salt until smooth.
  • Step #2 Taste, & add more horseradish & salt if desired.
  • Step #3 Nutritional analysis per tbsp.
