Blue Crab Dip Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 c butter
  • 2 c (8 oz) shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1/2 c sliced fresh parsley
  • 1 c thinly sliced green onions
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 lb fresh lump blue crabmeat
  • 1 tbsp dry sherry
  • 2 tbsps all-purpose flour
  •  Crackers or toast points
  • 1 c half-and-half

Directions
  • Step #1 Melt butter In a large-ish skillet over medium-high heat; add green onions & garlic, & sauté until tender.
  • Step #2 Stir in flour, & cook 1 min.
  • Step #3 Gradually stir in the half-and-half & next 3 ingredients.
  • Step #4 Gently fold in crabmeat without breaking up lumps.
  • Step #5 Pour into a lightly greased 8- x 8-inch baking dish.
  • Step #6 Bake at 350° for 40 mins or until lightly browned & bubbly.
  • Step #7 Serve with crackers or toast points.
