English Muffin Strata With Ham And Cheese Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 tsp dry mustard
  • 4 tsps Dijon mustard
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3/4 c sliced Canadian bacon (about 3 oz)
  •  Dash of ground red pepper
  • 2 large egg whites
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 6 English muffins, split
  •  Cooking spray
  • 1/8 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 1/2 c unsweetened soy milk
  • 1/2 c (2 oz) shredded Swiss cheese

Directions
  • Step #1 Cut each muffin half into 6 wedges.
  • Step #2 Arrange half of muffin wedges in bottom of an 8-inch square baking dish coated with cooking spray.
  • Step #3 Top with bacon.
  • Step #4 Sprinkle top with half of cheese.
  • Step #5 Arrange remaining muffin wedges over cheese.
  • Step #6 Top with remaining cheese.
  • Step #7 Combine milk & the remaining ingredients, stirring with a whisk until mixed.
  • Step #8 Pour milk mixture over muffin mixture.
  • Step #9 Cover up & put in the fridge 8 hrs or overnight.
  • Step #10 Preheat oven to 325°.
  • Step #11 Uncover strata & bake this at 325° for 1 hr or until a knife inserted in center comes out clean.
  • Step #12 Let stand 15 mins before serving.
