Mint-topped Broiled Oranges Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 large navel orange
  • 2 tsps butter, melted
  • 1/2 tsp sliced fresh mint
  • 1 tbsp orange liqueur (optional)

Directions
  • Step #1 Cut orange in half crosswise.
  • Step #2 Run a sharp knife or grapefruit knife around each section to loosen from membrane.
  • Step #3 (Do not remove sections.
  • Step #4 ) Stir together melted butter, and, if desired, sliced mint, orange liqueur.
  • Step #5 Spoon evenly over cut sides of orange halves.
  • Step #6 Place orange halves, cut side up, on an aluminum foil wrap-lined baking sheet.
  • Step #7 Broil 5 inches from heat 5 to 8 mins or until thoroughly heated.
