2 medium green bell peppers, seeded & sliced (optional) .
2-4 tsps paprika .
1/4 c worcestershire sauce .
1-2 tbsp prepared yellow mustard (optional) .
oil (for frying) .
4-5 lbs chicken legs (skin on or off) .
1/2 c honey .
2 (8 oz) cans tomato sauce .
1-2 tbsp fresh minced garlic .
hot pepper sauce .
seasoning salt .
1/2 c cider vinegar
Directions
Step #1 Spice up chicken legs with seasoning salt & pepper.
Step #2 In a fry pan with oil, brown the chicken legs on all sides.
Step #3 Place the chicken legs in a greased casserole dish.
Step #4 Sprinkle top with sliced onions & garlic (if using).
Step #5 In a bowl mix all remaining ingredients; mix well, & then pour over the chicken (mix slightly to coat the chicken legs).
Step #6 Bake in a 350 degree oven for about 40-45 mins, or until the chicken legs are done.
Step #7 *Note* if you find that the sauce is too thin at the end of cooking, place the chicken In a large-ish bowl, & transfer the sauce to a saucepan to boil down & reduce slightly for about 30 mins.
