Daikon Radish With Chicken-korean Style Recipe

Ingredients
  • Cooking sauce .
  • 3 tbsps soy sauce .
  • 1/2 tsp chili flakes .
  • 2 tbsps sake .
  • 1/4 tsp mirin .
  • 1 crushed garlic clove .
  • 2 boneless chicken legs with thigh (may substitue with chicken breast but taste might be less rich) .
  • 1 tbsp sugar .
  • 1 medium daikon radish .
  • 1 tsp sesame oil .
  • 2 c chicken stock .
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil .
  • pepper

Directions
  • Step #1 Peel daikon & cut into 1/2 inch halfmoons.
  • Step #2 Cut chicken into 1/2- 1 inch pieces.
  • Step #3 Heat oil.
  • Step #4 Add daikon & chicken & saute over high heat.
  • Step #5 Stir in crushed garlic & chilli flakes/pepper.
  • Step #6 Add all ingredients for the cooking sauce.
  • Step #7 Cook over med-heat/flame, constantly skimming.
  • Step #8 When the sauce has nearly evaporated, sprinkle sesame oil.
  • Step #9 Remove from heat & serve.
  • Step #10 Great with rice.
