Corned Beef And Cabbage For A Crowd Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 c water .
  • 5-7 lbs corned beef brisket .
  • 2 heads cabbage .
  • 3 lbs baby carrots .
  • 5 lbs red potatoes .
  • 2 (15 oz) cans Guinness stout .
  • 2 medium yellow onions

Directions
  • Step #1 Wash & cut potatoes into quarters.
  • Step #2 Peel & cut onions into wedges.
  • Step #3 Cut cabbage into wedges.
  • Step #4 Place all vegetables into a large roaster oven.
  • Step #5 Rinse corned beef & place on top of vegetables.
  • Step #6 Sprinkle top spice packets included with the corned beef on top.
  • Step #7 Pour the beer over the corned beef, being careful to not wash off the spices.
  • Step #8 Pour water into the bottom of the roaster.
  • Step #9 Set roaster to 300F degrees & cook for 4 - 4 1/2 hrs until vegetables are tender.
