Easy Cabbage Rolls Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/4 tsp pepper .
  • 2 (8 oz) cans tomato sauce .
  • 2 large eggs .
  • 1 large head of cabbage .
  • 1 1/2 lbs ground pork .
  • 3/4 tsp salt

Directions
  • Step #1 Core the head cabbage & parboil in a pot of boiling water until cabbage leaves are pliable.
  • Step #2 Drain & set aside to cool.
  • Step #3 Make filling:.
  • Step #4 Mix together, eggs, the ground pork, salt & pepper.
  • Step #5 Use a large ice-cream scoop & place one scoop of filling into core end of cabbage leaf & roll.
  • Step #6 I make the filling the size of a golf ball.
  • Step #7 Place all the rolls, seam side down into large pot & pour the two cans of tomato sauce over the cabbage rolls.
  • Step #8 Simmer on low heat for about three to four hrs.
  • Step #9 Cook until cabbage leaves are soft.
  • Step #10 Serve over white or brown rice.
