Chicken In Mushroom-cream Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 tsp butter .
  • olive oil, for frying .
  • 2-4 garlic cloves, sliced .
  • 1 (4 oz) can mushrooms, sliced, drained .
  • flour, for dredging .
  • 1/2 c heavy cream, use a little less .
  • 1 lb chicken fillets .
  • 1/2 c white wine

Directions
  • Step #1 Lightly dredge chicken in flour.
  • Step #2 Fry in olive oil until golden brown & set aside.
  • Step #3 In another saute pan, add garlic, mushrooms & white wine & let simmer until garlic exudes aroma.
  • Step #4 Add butter & cream & stir.
  • Step #5 Add the chicken.
  • Step #6 Cover up & let simmer on low heat a few mins until mixed & cooked through.
  • Step #7 Sprinkle top a bit of flour for extra thickness, if desired.
