Step #1 Cook pasta in large pot of boiling salted water until tender but still firm to bite, stirring every once in awhile.
Step #2 Drain.
Step #3 Transfer pasta to large bowl.
Step #4 Meanwhile, heat 1 tbsp oil in heavy large skillet over medium-high heat.
Step #5 Add prosciutto & sauté until crisp, about 5 mins.
Step #6 Transfer prosciutto to paper towels.
Step #7 Add remaining 2 tbsps oil to same skillet.
Step #8 Add garlic & sauté 15 seconds.
Step #9 Add tomatoes & let simmer 5 mins, stirring every once in awhile.
Step #10 Stir in cream, parsley, & 1/2 c cheese.
Step #11 Bring to boil; season this with salt & pepper.
Step #12 Add sauce to pasta in bowl; toss to coat.
Step #13 Sprinkle top with prosciutto & serve, passing extra cheese alongside.
