Chili Barbecue Chops Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 c barbecue sauce
  • 1/2 c Italian salad dressing
  • 2 tsps chili powder
  • 4 (3/4 inch) thick bone-in pork chops

Directions
  • Step #1 In a bowl, mix the salad dressing, barbecue sauce & chili powder; mix well.
  • Step #2 Pour 1/2 c marinade into a large resealable plastic bag; add the pork chops.
  • Step #3 Seal bag & turn to coat; put in the fridge for at least 1 hr.
  • Step #4 Cover & put in the fridge remaining marinade.
  • Step #5 Drain & discard marinade from pork.
  • Step #6 In a large skillet coated with nonstick cooking spray, brown chops on both sides over med-heat/flame; drain.
  • Step #7 Add reserved marinade.
  • Step #8 Bring to a boil.
  • Step #9 Reduce heat; cover & let simmer for 5-7 mins or until a meat thermometer reaches 160 degrees F.
