Creamy Pear Pie Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 tbsps all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 c all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp lemon extract
  • 2 tbsps brown sugar
  • 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie crust
  • 2 tbsps butter or margarine, melted
  • 1/3 c sugar
  • 1 c sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp almond extract
  • 4 c sliced peeled pears
  • TOPPING:
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Directions
  • Step #1 In a large bowl, toss pears with sugar & flour.
  • Step #2 Combine sour cream & extracts; add to pear mixture an mix well.
  • Step #3 Pour into pie shell.
  • Step #4 In a small bowl, mix toppings ingredients until crumbly.
  • Step #5 Sprinkle top over pears.
  • Step #6 Bake at 400F degrees F for 10 mins.
  • Step #7 Reduce heat to 350 degrees F; bake 45 mins more or until the pears are tender.
