Tex-mex Cheesesteaks Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 tbsps lime juice .
  • 4 hoagie rolls .
  • 1 (12 1/4 oz) package Steak-ums, thawed .
  • coarse salt .
  • 2 tsps chili powder .
  • hot sauce .
  • 1 tomato, sliced .
  • 8 oz monterey jack pepper cheese, shredded .
  • 2 avocados

Directions
  • Step #1 Mash the avocado with lime juice & add salt to taste.
  • Step #2 Spread mixture on one side of the rolls.
  • Step #3 Place tomato slices on the other side of the rolls.
  • Step #4 In a large skillet, cook the steaks over medium high heat, seasoning with the chili powder, for one min.
  • Step #5 Flip the steaks & sprinkle with cheese.
  • Step #6 Continue untill all the meat is cooked.
  • Step #7 Divide the meat among the four sandwiches & sprinkle with hot sauce, if desired.
