Pizza Salad (rachael Ray) Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 tbsps flour, for dusting .
  • 1 tsp extra-virgin olive oil .
  • 1 store-bought pizza dough .
  • salt & black pepper, to taste .
  • 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes .
  • 1/2 c marinara sauce or pizza sauce .
  • 1/3 lb prosciutto di Parma .
  • 3 c arugula leaves .
  • 1/2 lemon, juice of .
  • 2 garlic cloves, sliced .
  • 1 c shredded mozzarella cheese or four cheese mix (Rachael used 2 c, but I found that to be too much)

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 425°F.
  • Step #2 Sprinkle top flour on a clean work surface.
  • Step #3 Roll out pizza dough to form a 12-inch round pie or 13x9 inch rectangular pie.
  • Step #4 Place on appropriate baking sheet.
  • Step #5 Spread sauce & cheese on the dough.
  • Step #6 Scatter the garlic & red pepper flakes on top of the cheese.
  • Step #7 Bake pizza for 12 mins or until cheese is melted & crust is crispy.
  • Step #8 Top hot pizza with sliced prosciutto, covering the whole pie.
  • Step #9 Toss arugula leaves with the lemon juice & olive oil & season this with salt & pepper.
  • Step #10 Pile leaves up on the center of the pizza.
  • Step #11 Cut into 4 wedges & serve.
