Sicilian-style Spaghetti Recipe

Ingredients
  • fresh ground black pepper .
  • 1 c fine breadcrumbs .
  • 1/2 c sliced fresh parsley (or to taste) .
  • 1 (2 oz) can anchovy fillets, sliced .
  • 1/4-1/3 c grated parmesan cheese (or to taste) .
  • 4 tbsps olive oil .
  • 1-2 tbsp fresh minced garlic (or to taste) .
  • salt (optional) .
  • 1 lb uncooked spaghetti .
  • 1-2 tsp dried chili pepper flakes (optional or to taste)

Directions
  • Step #1 Bring a large pot of boiling salted water to a boil; add in spaghetti & cook for about 8-10 mins or until al dente; drain.
  • Step #2 In a medium skillet heat oil over med-heat/flame add in the garlic, chili flakes (if using) & anchovies; cook for 2 mins stirring constantly.
  • Step #3 Stir in breadcrumbs & turn off heat.
  • Step #4 Add in parsley & black pepper; mix together.
  • Step #5 Toss anchovy sauce with hot pasta & sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
