2-3 tsps dried red pepper flakes (optional or to taste)
Directions
Step #1 Slice the beef diagonally across the grain into very thin slices.
Step #2 Spice up the beef slices with salt & pepper.
Step #3 Heat oil in a skillet over high heat; add in ginger & saute for 2 mins or until tan-coloured.
Step #4 Add in garlic & red pepper flakes & saute for 30 seconds.
Step #5 Add in beef; cook for 2 mins, stirring constantly, then add in soy sauce.
Step #6 In a small c or bowl stir this together beef broth & cornstarch until smooth, then drizzle over the beef in the skillet; cook stirring constantly for 1 min or until thickened.
Step #7 Add in green onions & cook for another min.
Step #8 Spice up with more black pepper if desired.
