Step #1 Pre-heat oven to 180 degrees.
Step #2 Line bottom & sides of a brownie pan with aluminum foil wrap, lightly grease with some extra butter (not from ingredients).
Step #3 Melt butter over med-heat/flame, whisk until just melted.
Step #4 Remove from heat & add cocoa powder, whisk until smooth & no lumps remain.
Step #5 Add sugar & continue stirring until well mixed (I turned to a spoon by this point).
Step #6 Let mixture cool 2 mins.
Step #7 Transfer to larger bowl.
Step #8 Add eggs & vanilla & mix until well mixed.
Step #9 Add flour (I sifted mine) & salt, using rubber spatula stir until batter is mixed.
Step #10 Scrape into prepared pan (should be quite hard as mixture doesn't run).
Step #11 Spread evenly & bake this until toothpick comes out clean, about 20 mins.
Step #12 Let cool & cut.
