Eleanor's Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

2 tsps baking soda .
2 tsps salt .
4 c chocolate chips .
5 c flour (measured not sifted) .
2 c packed brown sugar .
4 large eggs .
1 c granulated sugar .
2 c Crisco shortening (non butter flavor)

Directions

Step #1 Blend the first 4 ingredients until completely mixed together.
Step #2 Mix Flour soda salt together.
Step #3 Add flour mixture about 1 c at a time.
Step #4 It will seem stiff when done.
Step #5 Add choclate chips about 1 c at a time Drop by teasp.
Step #6 onto lightly greased cookie sheet.
Step #7 Bake at 350° until pale golden.
Step #8 Longer if crunchy cookies wanted.
Step #9 It will make a lot.
Step #10 I have never counted the amount they disapear to fast.
