Step #1 Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Step #2 Mix 1 c sugar, butter, sour cream, vanilla & egg.
Step #3 Stir in remaining ingredients.
Step #4 Drop dough by rounded tspfuls into sugar (can be colored sugar); roll carefully until completely coated.
Step #5 Place about 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet (or cookie sheet lined with parchment paper).
Step #6 Flatten cookies to about 1/4-inch thickness with the bottom of a drinking glass.
Step #7 Bake 7 to 8 mins or just until set.
