Savory Wine Biscuits Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 c all-purpose flour .
  • 1/4 lb unsalted butter, softened to room temp .
  • 1 garlic clove, minced .
  • 10 oz cheese, see note .
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Directions
  • Step #1 Cheese to be used is a Triple-cream such as St Andre.
  • Step #2 Soften to about room temp.
  • Step #3 Mix the cheese, butter & garlic in a bowl.
  • Step #4 Add the salt & flour & beat until smooth.
  • Step #5 Roll into a cylinder 2 inches in diameter, wrap in plastic wrap & put in the fridge 30 mins or overnight.
  • Step #6 Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Step #7 Slice dough into 1/4 inch rounds & bake on ungreased sheet for 8 to 10 mins or until lightly browned at edges.
  • Step #8 Cool on wire wrack.
  • Step #9 Store in airtight container.
  • Step #10 Will keep 1 week.
