Pear Salad With Cream Cheese And Lime Gelatin Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 tbsps milk .
  • 1 (8 oz) container Cool Whip, thawed .
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened .
  • 2 (15 oz) cans pear halves (reserve 1 c of juice) .
  • 1 (3 oz) package lime gelatin

Directions
  • Step #1 In a small saucepan, add 1 c of pear juice & bring to a boil.
  • Step #2 Remove from heat.
  • Step #3 In a large bowl mix dry lime gelatin with pear juice & stir until gelatin is dissolved.
  • Step #4 Chill until partially set.
  • Step #5 In a medium bowl, cream the cream cheese with milk until mixed & smooth.
  • Step #6 In a small bowl, mash pears until smooth.
  • Step #7 Mix with the cream cheese mixture & mix until smooth.
  • Step #8 Combine gelatin mixture & cream cheese mixture & mix until smooth.
  • Step #9 Fold in cool whip.
  • Step #10 Pour into a mold or leave in a bowl & chill 2-3 hrs or until set.
