Spinach-basil Pesto Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3 1/2 c firmly packed fresh spinach leaves .
  • 1 1/2 c firmly packed fresh basil leaves .
  • 1/2 c walnuts or pine nuts .
  • 8-10 garlic cloves .
  • 1 c extra virgin olive oil .
  • 1/2 tsp pepper .
  • 1 1/2 c grated parmesan cheese .
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Directions
  • Step #1 Place all ingredients in a food processor/blender.
  • Step #2 Cover up & pulse for 3 mins, scraping down sides as needed.
  • Step #3 You want a smooth finished product.
  • Step #4 This will keep in the fridge for 3 days, 3 months in the freezer.
