Slow-cooked Chicken Tetrazzini Recipe

Ingredients
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 2X1/2 inch strips .
  • 1/4 tsp pepper .
  • 1/2 c dry white wine .
  • 1/2 tsp salt .
  • 1/2 c half-and-half .
  • 1/4 c water .
  • 1/4 tsp thyme .
  • 3 tbsps cornstarch .
  • 8 mushrooms, sliced .
  • 1/2 c parmesan cheese, grated .
  • 2 tbsps fresh parsley, minced .
  • 1 onion, finely sliced .
  • 8 oz spaghetti, broken into 2 inch pieces, cooked & drained .
  • 1 c chicken broth

Directions
  • Step #1 In crockpot, wine, mix chicken, broth, salt, onion, thyme, pepper & parsley.
  • Step #2 Cover up & cook on low 4-5 hrs.
  • Step #3 Turn control to high.
  • Step #4 Add mushrooms.
  • Step #5 In a small bowl, dissolve cornstarch in water; stir in theto crockpot.
  • Step #6 Cover up & cook on high 20 mins.
  • Step #7 Stir in half & half, cooked spaghetti, & half the cheese.
  • Step #8 Cover up & heat on high 5-10 mins.
  • Step #9 Serve with remaining cheese.
