1 tbsp chicken fat or vegetable oil or softened margarine .
1 egg .
1/4 c potato starch .
1/4 c finely ground almond meal .
1/4 tsp salt
Directions
Step #1 Beat egg with salt & pepper.
Step #2 Add remaining ingredients, & mix well.
Step #3 Refrigerate for 1 hr.
Step #4 Add extra potato starch, if necessary, until the batter is firm enough to be rolled into balls with your hands - It will still be sticky, but not too wet to handle.
Step #5 Using clean, dry hands roll a tbsp of dough at a time into balls.
Step #6 Submerge in boiling water or soup.
Step #7 Allow to cook for approximately 10 mins or until each ball has puffed up a bit & is cooked all the way through.
