Easy And Creamy Turkey-vegetable Soup Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 medium carrots, thinly sliced .
  • 1 tsp dried thyme, crushed .
  • 1 (10 oz) container put in the fridged low fat alfredo sauce .
  • oyster crackers (optional) .
  • 3 c reduced-sodium chicken broth or homemade turkey broth .
  • 1 small zucchini, thinly sliced (about 1 c) .
  • 1 c sliced cooked turkey .
  • 1/2 c uncooked instant rice

Directions
  • Step #1 In a 4-quart Dutch oven or saucepan mix chicken or turkey broth & carrots.
  • Step #2 Bring to boiling; reduce heat.
  • Step #3 Cover up & let simmer for 10 mins.
  • Step #4 Stir in turkey, zucchini, rice, & thyme.
  • Step #5 Remove from heat.
  • Step #6 Cover up & let this stand about 5 mins or until rice is tender.
  • Step #7 Stir in Alfredo sauce; return to heat & warm through.
  • Step #8 If desired, serve this with oyster crackers.
