Creamy Swiss Chicken Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 (10.75 oz) can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 c seasoned croutons
  • 1 tsp mustard seed
  • 1 1/4 c white wine
  • 1/2 c sour cream
  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsps butter, melted

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Step #2 Arrange chicken in a lightly greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Step #3 In a medium bowl, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, mix the soup, wine, mustard seed & sour cream & mix together; set aside.
  • Step #4 Top each chicken breast with a slice of Swiss cheese & pour sour cream mixture evenly over the chicken.
  • Step #5 Crush the bag of croutons & sprinkle evenly over all, then drizzle with melted butter.
  • Step #6 Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 50 mins, or until chicken is cooked through & juices run clear.
