Ingredients
  • 10 ml vanilla extract .
  • 170 g butter .
  • 8 eggs .
  • 1 loaf French bread, cut diagonally in 1 inch slices .
  • 195 g brown sugar .
  • 475 ml milk .
  • 5/8 g ground cinnamon .
  • 45 ml light corn syrup .
  • 355 ml half-and-half cream

Directions
  • Step #1 Butter a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Step #2 Arrange the slices of bread in the bottom.
  • Step #3 In a large bowl, cream, milk, beat together eggs, vanilla & cinnamon.
  • Step #4 Pour over bread slices, cover, & put in the fridge overnight.
  • Step #5 The next morning, preheat your trusty oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Step #6 In a small saucepan, mix butter, brown sugar & corn syrup; heat until bubbling.
  • Step #7 Pour over bread & egg mixture.
  • Step #8 Bake in preheated oven, uncovered, for 40 mins.
