Crock Pot Creamy Chicken Noodle Stew Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 (1 1/4 oz) package onion soup mix .
  • flour .
  • 1 tsp paprika .
  • 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1/2 inch cubes .
  • 1 (15 oz) can peas, drained .
  • 1 (14 1/2 oz) can chicken broth .
  • 1 (4 oz) can mushrooms, drained .
  • 15 oz canned carrots, drained .
  • 3 medium potatoes, cut into 1/2 inch cubes .
  • 1 (10 1/2 oz) can cream of mushroom soup .
  • 1/4 c dry white wine .
  • 1 (12 oz) package egg noodles .
  • 1/4 c butter .
  • 2 (10 1/2 oz) cans cream of chicken soup .
  • 1 tsp black pepper .
  • 1 tbsp parsley flakes

Directions
  • Step #1 Place chicken in crock pot.
  • Step #2 Add onion soup mix, butter, broth, & soups.
  • Step #3 Sprinkle top paprika & black pepper over mixture.
  • Step #4 Add peas, carrots, & mushrooms.
  • Step #5 Sprinkle top parsley flakes over top.
  • Step #6 Add white wine.
  • Step #7 Cook on high for 1 hr, then low for 7 hrs.
  • Step #8 Add cooked noodles approximately 30 mins before end of cooking time.
  • Step #9 Stir thoroughly.
  • Step #10 Add flour by the tbsp & stir this to thicken, if desired.
