Ginger Molasses Marinade For Chicken Or Pork (or Even Tofu) Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/4 c dark molasses .
  • 1 pinch red pepper flakes (optional) .
  • 1/4 tsp fresh ground pepper .
  • 1 1/2 tsps ground ginger .
  • 1/2 c low sodium soy sauce (not regular as the finished dish will be unpleasantly salty)

Directions
  • Step #1 Mix all of the marinade ingredients together.
  • Step #2 Combine with selected meat & marinade for 2 to 24 hrs.
  • Step #3 This is enough marinade for 1 to 1 1/2 lbs of meat.
  • Step #4 Remove meat from marinade, draining excess liquid.
  • Step #5 Cook as desired.
  • Step #6 Grilling (indoor or outdoor) or broiling suggested.
