Cranberry Swirl Coffee Cake Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 c butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c white sugar
  • 2 c all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp almond extract
  • 1 (8 oz) can whole cranberry sauce
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 c sour cream

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Step #2 Grease & flour one 9 or 10 inch tube pan.
  • Step #3 In a large bowl, cream together the butter & sugar until light & fluffy.
  • Step #4 Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the the almond extract.
  • Step #5 Combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder, & salt; stir in theto the creamed mixture alternately with the sour cream.
  • Step #6 Pour 1/3 of the batter into the prepared tube pan.
  • Step #7 Swirl 1/2 of the cranberry sauce into the batter.
  • Step #8 Repeat, ending with the batter on top.
  • Step #9 Bake 55 mins in the preheated oven, until golden brown.
