Crispy Tofu And Bacon Wraps Recipe

Step #1 Place the tofu, yellow onion, red pepper, garlic, tomato, green onion, mushrooms, & bacon in the bowl of a food processor/blender.
Step #2 Spice up with fish sauce, pepper, curry powder, red wine, parsley, salt, mustard powder, dill, & ginger; puree until smooth.
Step #3 Place an egg roll wrapper on your work surface with a corner pointing towards you.
Step #4 Spoon 1 to 2 tbsps of the tofu mixture in between the center & bottom corner of the wrapper.
Step #5 Fold the corner closest to you over the top of the filling, then fold in the left & right sides.
Step #6 Moisten the top corner with a little water, & roll up tightly.
Step #7 Heat a few inches of canola oil in a large pot to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Step #8 Fry the wraps a few at a time until the center has cooked & the outside is golden brown.
Step #9 Drain on paper towels & serve hot.
