Cinnamon Rice With Apples Recipe

Ingredients

1/3 c raisins
1 1/2 c apple juice
1 apple, cored & sliced
1/4 tsp salt, or to taste
3/4 c uncooked white rice
1/4 c sliced fresh parsley
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

Directions

Step #1 In a saucepan, sliced apple, mix rice, apple juice, & raisins.
Step #2 Spice up with cinnamon & salt.
Step #3 Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, & cover for about 17 mins.
Step #4 Lift lid, & see if rice is moist enough for your taste; if not, cook another couple mins.
Step #5 Mix in fresh parsley.
Step #6 Serve as soon as possible.
