Cinnamon Rice With Apples Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/3 c raisins
  • 1 1/2 c apple juice
  • 1 apple, cored & sliced
  • 1/4 tsp salt, or to taste
  • 3/4 c uncooked white rice
  • 1/4 c sliced fresh parsley
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

Directions
  • Step #1 In a saucepan, sliced apple, mix rice, apple juice, & raisins.
  • Step #2 Spice up with cinnamon & salt.
  • Step #3 Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, & cover for about 17 mins.
  • Step #4 Lift lid, & see if rice is moist enough for your taste; if not, cook another couple mins.
  • Step #5 Mix in fresh parsley.
  • Step #6 Serve as soon as possible.
