Crescent Topped Casserole Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/4 c sliced onion
  • 2 tbsps butter or margarine, melted
  • 2 (8 oz) cans tomato sauce
  • 1/3 c grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 (8 oz) package put in the fridged crescent rolls
  • 2 c shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 3/4 c sour cream
  • 1 (1.5 oz) package spaghetti sauce mix
  • 2 lbs ground beef

Directions
  • Step #1 In a large skillet, cook beef & onion over med-heat/flame until meat is no longer pink; drain.
  • Step #2 Stir in tomato sauce & spaghetti sauce mix.
  • Step #3 Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 5 mins.
  • Step #4 Remove from the heat; stir in the sour cream.
  • Step #5 Spoon into a greased 13-in.
  • Step #6 x 9-in.
  • Step #7 x 2-in.
  • Step #8 baking dish.
  • Step #9 Sprinkle top with mozzarella cheese.
  • Step #10 Unroll crescent dough into one rectangle; seal seams & perforations.
  • Step #11 Place over cheese.
  • Step #12 brush with butter & sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  • Step #13 Bake, uncovered, at 375 degrees F for 25-30 mins or until golden brown.
