Chocolate Snowballs Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 c baking cocoa
  • 2 c all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 c milk
  • confectioners' sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3/4 c packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 3/4 c butter or margarine, softened

Directions
  • Step #1 In a mixing bowl, cream butter & brown sugar.
  • Step #2 Add egg, milk & vanilla; mix well.
  • Step #3 Combine flour, baking powder, cocoa, salt & baking soda; slowly add to creamed mixture.
  • Step #4 Cover & put in the fridge overnight.
  • Step #5 Shape into 1-in.
  • Step #6 balls; place 2 in.
  • Step #7 apart on ungreased baking sheets.
  • Step #8 Bake at 350 degrees F for 7-8 mins or until tops are crackled.
  • Step #9 Remove from baking sheets; as soon as possible roll in confectioners' sugar.
  • Step #10 Cool completely.
  • Step #11 Roll again in confectioners' sugar.
