Steak Sandwiches Recipe

Ingredients

3/4 c chili sauce .
1 lb round steaks, thinly sliced .
3-4 French rolls, halved .
1/2 c bourbon .
1 tbsp vegetable oil .
1 onion, sliced into rings (optional) .
1 tbsp butter .
5 tbsps worcestershire sauce .
1 c catsup .
3/4 c chutney .
6 tbsps steak sauce .
1/4 tsp hot pepper sauce

Directions

Step #1 Combine first 7 ingredients (catsup - bourbon) In a large-ish bowl, cover & put in the fridge over night or at least 4 hrs.
Step #2 Pour sauce into a saucepan, cover & let simmer for 30 mins.
Step #3 In a large skillet melt butter & oil over high heat; add steaks & onion rings in batches & brown well.
Step #4 Add steaks & onions to sauce & stir until heated through.
Step #5 Spoon mixture onto rolls.
