Easy Caramel Flan Recipe

Ingredients
  • boiling water, for baking in .
  • 1 (12 oz) can evaporated milk .
  • 4 eggs .
  • 1 (14 oz) can condensed milk .
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract .
  • 3/4 c sugar

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 325.
  • Step #2 Brown sugar in a saucepan till golden but not burnt & then quickly transfer to the bottom of a pie plate.
  • Step #3 In a large bowl beat the eggs & then add the 2 cans of milk & vanilla extract, mixing well.
  • Step #4 Pour mixture into pie plate.
  • Step #5 Using a larger pan that the pie plate will fit in, fill half way with the boiling water, place this in oven, & then place pie plate in the middle of the large pan.
  • Step #6 Bake for approximately 40 min.
  • Step #7 Let cool & then after running a knife around the edge to seperate, flip over onto a serving dish.
