Mom's Chicken And Rice Supreme Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 (10 3/4 oz) can cream of celery soup .
  • 1 1/2 c Minute Rice .
  • 1-1 1/2 lb chickens, cut-up (I prefer thighs & bone-in breasts) .
  • 1/4 c water .
  • 1 (10 3/4 oz) can cream of chicken soup .
  • seasoning salt, to taste .
  • 1/4 c butter or margarine, melted .
  • 1 (10 3/4 oz) can cream of mushroom soup .
  • pepper, to taste

Directions
  • Step #1 Mix all ingredients except chicken & spread in a greased, (I use non-stick spray.
  • Step #2 )13x9 inch pan.
  • Step #3 Place chicken on top (skin side up).
  • Step #4 Spice up the chicken pieces with salt & pepper.
  • Step #5 Cover up tightly with foil wrap.
  • Step #6 Bake at 300F degrees for 2 hrs.
  • Step #7 Remove foil wrap.
  • Step #8 You can place under broiler for a few mins to brown chicken pieces if you like (my mother did not, but I like my chicken browned so I added this step).
