Step #2 Spray a roasting pan with non-stick cooking spray.
Step #3 Place the cereal into the pan.
Step #4 In a 3-quart saucepan mix brown sugar, butter & light corn syrup; cook over med-heat/flame until the mixture comes to a boil (about 8-10 mins) continue cooking stirring constantly for 1 min; remove this from heat, then add in baking soda & mix well.
Step #5 Pour the syrup mixture over the cereal in the pan; toss carefully until well coated.
Step #6 Bake at 250 degrees for 40-50 mins stirring every 15 mins or until the coating is set.
Step #7 Spread the mixture onto waxed paper; cool for 10 mins then break apart.
Step #8 Store in an airtight container.
