Chocolate Peanut Butter Gooey Cake Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 tsp vanilla .
  • 1/2 c butter, melted .
  • 3 large eggs .
  • 18 3/4 oz chocolate cake mix .
  • Filling .
  • 1 c creamy peanut butter .
  • 1/2 c butter, melted .
  • 1 large egg .
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened .
  • 3 1/2 c powdered sugar

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Step #2 Grease a 9x13 inch pan.
  • Step #3 For crust, mix cake mix, egg, & 1 stick of melted butter with a large spoon & pat into the bottom & up the sides of pan.
  • Step #4 For filling mix cream cheese, peanut butter, & eggs together with mixer until smooth, scraping down the sides.
  • Step #5 Add powdered sugar & vanilla.
  • Step #6 Mix until smooth.
  • Step #7 Slowly add melted butter to filling & mix until smooth.
  • Step #8 Pour the filling over the crust & bake 25 - 30 mins.
  • Step #9 Check after 25 mins.
  • Step #10 When it is done, the edges will pull away from the sides of pan & the filling will have browned, but middle should be very gooey.
  • Step #11 It will still jiggle.
