Mary's German Chocolate Cake Icing Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3 egg yolks .
  • 1 1/3 c coconut .
  • 1 c evaporated milk .
  • 1/2 c margarine or butter .
  • 1 tsp vanilla .
  • 1 c nuts, sliced .
  • 1 c sugar

Directions
  • Step #1 Combine all ingredients (except nuts & coconut) in a medium saucepan over med-heat/flame until thickened, approximately 12 mins.
  • Step #2 Add nuts & coconut.
  • Step #3 Beat with a spoon till both are coated.
  • Step #4 Cool & frost the cake.
